Becoming a member is simple and affordable ranging from only $50 a year for restaurants to $600 a year for businesses who want to fulfill a greater leadership role in the development of our district.

The East Downtown Council (EDC)  has served the Downtown East and Elliot Park neighborhoods Minneapolis since 1979 and is poised to be a key advocate and connection to important leaders and resources in the City of Minneapolis.

Downtown East

One of the two neighborhoods that comprise the East Downtown Council is Downtown East. The neighborhood is bound in the north by the Mississippi River, in the west by Portland Avenue South, in the east by Interstate 35W and in the south by Fifth Street South. Elliot Park
